The Analyst II will be responsible for managing the Training Program for CCHCS, reviewing training needs, and ensuring compliance with required training for employees.

Responsibilities

Consult with staff

Review and analyze training needs

Make recommendations for additions, deletions, and changes to the existing training program based on the goals and objectives of the California Correctional Health Care Services

Work with California Department of Corrections (CDCR)

Work with the Department of State Hospitals-Stockton (DSH-Stockton)

Work with In-Service Training staff (IST) in a collaborative partnership to ensure that facility-specific required training is conducted and/or completed by CCHCS employees

Required

Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties

Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis

An additional year of professional analytical and/or technical experience equivalent to an Analyst I, Range C

Candidates who are within six months of satisfying the experience requirement will be admitted to the examination, but they must fully meet the experience requirement before being eligible for appointment
