Budget Analyst, Delta 13
The United States Space Force (USSF) at Joint Base Andrews, MD is searching for a Budget Analyst for Delta 13. This role involves planning, analyzing, and executing major segments of the Space Force budget while providing guidance and support on financial strategies and compliance.

Responsibilities
Knowledge of the policies, principles, concepts, guidance, procedures, techniques, and methodologies pertaining to budget formulation and financial management
Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of DoD and DAF organizations pertaining to budget formulation and financial management to provide guidance to subordinate units
Knowledge of the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process and its products, terminology, and guidance documents, including DoD budget and financial management regulations, OMB Circulars, and Congressional legislation
Possess strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate orally, in writing, and with technical accuracy
Ability to analyze, plan, adjust and execute complex financial management requirements to meet program objectives using available resources within established time constraints
In-depth knowledge of financial management cycles, revolving funds and annual and multiple-year appropriations; their characteristics, uses, applications, and data structures, including the ability to identify problems, develop and implement innovative detailed strategies to resolve a wide range of programming, budgetary, financial issues
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance
May be required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise
Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed 'unscheduled telework'
May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis
May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments
This position will close after 5 business days or 75 applications, whichever comes first
PCS /relocation funding is authorized
Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing
Employee must within 30-days of assuming this position and annually thereafter, file an OGE-450, 'Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.' Employee is required to attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training
This is a Financial Management Level (1, 2, or 3) Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d
