Lead Quality Assurance - Automation Engineer

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement advanced test plans, strategies, and automation solutions
Write, execute, and troubleshoot automated and manual test cases for new and existing applications
Perform comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) testing across all phases of the customer journey, including sales, ordering, provisioning, activation, billing, and customer service
Develop integrated testing solutions for systems with cross-organizational dependencies
Collaborate with developers, architects, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance
Utilize architectural skills to create data and environment strategies supporting scalability, reliability, and security
Ensure thorough documentation of test activities, results, and requirement traceability
Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending enhancements for code, processes, and system architecture
Leverage AI-powered testing tools to automate test case generation, perform visual regression testing, enhance defect detection, and streamline overall QA workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5–8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in automation testing (Selenium, Ginger, Cucumber, Postman or similar tools)
Proficiency in programming languages for test automation (Java or equivalent frameworks)
Hands-on experience with DevOps and cloud tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and monitoring solutions
Strong understanding of application architecture, microservices, and modern technology stacks (Kafka, Couchbase, Springboot, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Telecommunication industry experience is a plus
