.NET Developer (Software Development Specialist 3)
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services is seeking a .NET Software Developer to modernize the Support Enforcement and Tracking System (SETS) by migrating a complex mainframe solution to a cloud-based architecture. The role involves designing scalable solutions, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with various teams to align on project goals and deliverables.

Responsibilities
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using .NET(C#)/.NET Core and related frameworks
Build RESTful APIs and microservices tailored for deployment in Azure Container Apps (ACA)
Develop data access logic using SQL Server, including stored procedures, functions, and optimized queries
Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate build, test, deployment, and release processes
Conduct code reviews and ensure alignment with best practices across the development lifecycle
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and reliability
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Qualification
Required
60 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: assuring requirements are defined and approved, performing code reviews and ensuring application development standards are met
12 months work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting (.NET)
Completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems
42 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: assuring requirements are defined and approved, performing code reviews and ensuring application development standards are met
12 months work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting (.NET)
Completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems
36 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: assuring requirements are defined and approved, performing code reviews and ensuring application development standards are met
12 months work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting (.NET)
Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above
