Responsibilities
Perform systems engineering to include expertise in systems design and integration; manufacturing, quality and industrial engineering; airworthiness; and configuration and data management
Execute AFPD 62-6, USAF Airworthiness, through standardized processes, and issuance of flight authorizations
Assist in reviewing, developing, and updating applicable program documentation for systems engineering relevant requirements/issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited program and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience
Master's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited program and twelve (12) years of relevant experience
Five (5) years of Government Acquisition experience
Knowledge of systems engineering in support of system definition, development, integration, verification methods, sustainment, risk modeling/simulation, testing and evaluation, human system integration (HSI), crew stations engineering, OSS&E efforts, interoperability requirements, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems, including ground-based systems
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire
Must be able to travel, including air travel
