Responsibilities
Manage and support physical and virtual infrastructure across multiple data centers supporting ultra-low latency trading systems
Design and implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Python scripting
Maintain and optimize systems for high availability, low latency, and fault tolerance
Collaborate with network, systems, and trading technology teams to ensure seamless platform operations
Perform capacity planning, monitoring, and performance tuning across production and disaster recovery environments
Develop monitoring and alerting solutions using tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, or Grafana
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues
Support change management and documentation best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
5+ years of experience as a Data Center, Systems, or Infrastructure Engineer
Strong automation skills with Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools
Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) environments
Understanding of low-latency networking, colocation facilities, and capital markets infrastructure
Familiarity with virtualization and containerization (VMware, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes)
Excellent troubleshooting skills in production environments
Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred
Experience in electronic trading infrastructure or market connectivity environments
Understanding of FIX, multicast, and financial exchange protocols
Experience managing infrastructure in colocation facilities such as Equinix or NY4/CH4
Exposure to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows
