Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality analysis to clients

Prepare TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) and APT (Atom Probe Tomography) specimens using FIB (Focused Ion Beam)

Operate CAMECA LEAP for data acquisition and data analysis using AP Suite6 software

Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance

Coordinate with equipment vendors to minimize downtime

Conduct data processing and reporting

Document and report analytical findings clearly and accurately

Work cross-functionally with internal teams on integrated microscopy projects

Required

MS or PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering or a related field

MUST HAVE minimum 2 years of experience on specimen preparation using APT, FIB and TEM

Skilled in handling delicate, chip-sized samples with precision tools

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Ability to continuously operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office or laboratory to access file cabinets, machinery, equipment etc

Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time

Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting

Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota

Preferred

Skilled with APT data analysis using customized coding programs

Experience with CAMECA LEAP instrument

Familiarity with automated specimen fabrication using FIB/SEM systems

Experience and knowledge with semiconductor technologies and processes
