Responsibilities
Maintains the accuracy and timeliness of maximum commitment dates for all hospital legal classes
Serve as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders on inquiries related to any legal class
Make arithmetical computations to determine maximum commitment date applying applicable custody credits and enhancements according to Penal Code
Analyze and interpret forensic reports, court orders and subpoenas, recognizing discrepancies and requesting correction as needed
Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
Responsible for cross training on all legal desks, providing backup to other analysts, and the ability to fully process all duties outlined in all legal desk procedures
Qualification
Required
Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties
Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
An additional year of professional analytical and/or technical experience equivalent to an Analyst I, Range C
