This role focuses on Layer 3 networking and involves supporting large-scale carrier-grade environments, troubleshooting complex routing issues, and collaborating with engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Supporting and enhancing Layer 3 service provider networks
Troubleshooting complex routing and MPLS-related issues
Working hands-on with Nokia networking platforms
Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams
Participating in documentation and continuous process improvement
Providing on-call support during assigned rotations
Qualification
Required
Background working for telecom or network service providers
Strong Layer 3 routing experience (ISIS, BGP)
Hands-on MPLS experience clearly demonstrated on resume
Network troubleshooting experience in production environments
Scripting experience (any language)
Telecom industry experience
Nokia networking hardware hands-on experience (key OEM)
Preferred
Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia CLI & configuration
Hands-on experience with MPLS, OSPF, and BGP
Solid knowledge of ERO (Extensive Route Object)
Strong understanding of IPv4, IPv6, and networking protocols
Experience with Microsoft and Unix/Linux server environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA
