Training and Human Resource Manager, DEL 1
The United States Space Force (USSF) is seeking a Training and Human Resource Manager to support DEL 1 at Vandenberg AFB, CA. This role involves developing and administering human relations activities and training programs, while advising leadership on human capital issues.

Responsibilities
Knowledge of federal laws, executive orders, regulations, policies, directives, principles, and practices governing to administer a Space Force wide training implementation and various human resource programs
Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of DOD and Space Force organizations to effectively manage USSF training programs and activities
Knowledge at an expert level of analytical and evaluative methods, including a wide range of qualitative and quantitative techniques, plus a thorough understanding of how regulatory programs are administered to measure compliance, assess effectiveness, identify deficiencies, analyze trends, and make recommendations for enhancements and improvements of programs and the resolution of problems
Skill in justifying, defending, and recommending decisions on an end to end program within a matrix organization
Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations, retrieve and input data, and maintain accurate files; a qualified typist is not required
Skill in communicating, both orally and in writing, to provide seasoned consulting to operating managers and other specialists; lead team studies, negotiate complex, controversial issues; provide informational briefings to include options and recommendations to high level management; and establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships

Required
Must be a U.S Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance
May be required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise
Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed 'unscheduled telework'
May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis
May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments

PCS /relocation funding is not authorized
Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year
This position has been designated for drug testing. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing as a condition of employment
Preferred
Experience in a base-level MPF or CPO or MAJCOM/FIELDCOM A1 or S1 is required
Manpower experience is preferred
A bachelor's degree in any field is preferred but not required
