Responsibilities

Consulting with stakeholders across our Commercial, Technology, Product, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources and Finance departments and working with our Procurement team in the review, drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements

Advising on employment matters arising in multiple jurisdictions relating to hiring, performance management, leaves of absence, accommodations, terminations, restrictive covenants, wage and hour, and privacy

Managing litigation and claims, including drafting of pleadings, drafting of discovery requests and responses, overseeing document production, and managing outside counsel

Advising on intellectual property matters, including protecting the Company’s copyright and trademark rights; advising on licensing and use of third-party intellectual property; and responding to inquiries relating to copyright and trademark issues

Advising on data privacy and security matters, including as to the CCPA, the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, HIPAA and other Federal and state privacy laws; maintaining policies and procedures as to data privacy, security and governance; responding to privacy rights requests; and advising as to emerging laws and regulatory guidelines relating to GenAI

Advising as to application of Federal and state laws relating to advertising, marketing, competition and unfair trade practices
