Responsibilities
Provide support to Claims Department. Including, calendaring events, setting up meetings, reserving conference rooms, copies, redaction of documents, etc
Responsible for obtaining, following up on and organizing documents and information necessary for responding to discovery requests, subpoenas, and administrative agency inquiries. Including but not limited to requests for policies, insurance information, employment status of potential witnesses, audit trails, logs, HR documents, etc., medical staff documents)
Timely provide defense counsel signed discovery responses and documents after consultation with the assigned claims manager
Entering Claims into Origami with all necessary information and documents; preparation of assignment letters to defense counsel; coverage letters to insured defendants
Setting up new claims in Bottomline
Electronic file management for all discovery and necessary documentation/information to the Origami file
Track and manage quarterly reporting deadlines
Support preparation of presentations for internal use
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to interpret medical and legal information
Provide support to Claims Department including calendaring events, setting up meetings, reserving conference rooms, copies, redaction of documents, etc
