Business Development Executive (Wealth Management)

Stevens Foster Financial Advisors is seeking a Business Development Executive to lead new client acquisition efforts. The role involves cultivating relationships with corporate executives and high-net-worth families while executing strategic outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic business development plan targeting executives and families with complex financial needs
Identify, source, and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, targeted outreach, events, and community engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with attorneys, CPAs, and centers of influence to expand the firm’s referral network
Provide insights to leadership about emerging business opportunities and market trends
Educate prospective clients on Stevens Foster’s integrated wealth management services
Qualify prospects and coordinate seamless transitions to Client Account Managers for discovery meetings
Support CAMs during onboarding to ensure new clients receive a cohesive, high-quality experience
Oversee firm marketing initiatives, including campaigns, sponsorships, advertising, and event coordination
Collaborate with the Office & Client Support Associate on content creation, marketing materials, website updates, and social media execution
Represent Stevens Foster at industry, networking, and community events to increase visibility and brand presence
Maintain accurate Redtail CRM records, including activities, prospect notes, and pipeline updates
Provide regular progress reports to firm leadership, including acquisition metrics and pipeline health
Achieve or exceed annual client acquisition and revenue targets

Required

7–10+ years of business development, marketing, or relationship management experience in wealth management, financial services, or professional services
Demonstrated success attracting and retaining high-net-worth and executive clients
Proficiency with CRM systems, especially Redtail
Experience managing marketing campaigns and coordinating external vendors
Strong command of Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
Excellent consultative communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Highly self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented
Ability to build trust quickly and communicate the value of a comprehensive wealth management approach
Strong follow-through, attention to detail, and professional judgment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field preferred
Established Twin Cities referral network strongly preferred
