Start in 2026 SummerRuoff Mortgage is looking for an Analytics & Capital Markets Intern for Summer 2026. This position will work closely with the Analytics team to gather secondary market research, design reporting models, and report the results.

Responsibilities
Gather data from a variety of sources
Assist analytics team in reporting suite management (PowerBI)
Design ad-hoc reports based on requests from various departments
Analyze and process submitted new rate lock, lock extension, and/or reprice requests
Analyze current mortgage-backed securities market conditions and reprice rate sheets and locked/unlocked loans accordingly
Develop efficient ways to present and maintain data
Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures
Responsible for a high level of confidentiality and security while handling personal information; verbal and/or written documentation
Perform other support/administrative tasks as requested
Qualification
Required
Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics
Proficient with Microsoft Office products- Excel, Word, and Outlook; PowerBI a plus
Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and broad communication skills are essential
