Building and maintaining high-performance backend systems
Writing clean, testable, production-grade code
Building backend services, APIs, and event-driven systems
Qualification
Required
5–15 years of overall Python software development experience
Expert-level Python (core backend development)
Object-oriented design, data structures, multithreading/multiprocessing
Performance optimization and memory management
Writing clean, testable, production-grade code
Experience building backend services, APIs, and event-driven systems
Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and low-latency processing
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) from an application developer's perspective
Preferred
Background in top-tier product or financial services companies preferred
Banking experience is a plus
Prior experience in trade surveillance, compliance, capital markets, or risk systems is an advantage
