They are seeking a part-time Publicity Assistant fluent in Korean to assist their PR and interpreter teams with various tasks including writing press releases, compiling reports, and communicating with media and clients.

Public Relations & Communications

Responsibilities

Writing press releases and pitches
Compiling press reports
Researching for pitch lists, media outlets, contacts, and vendors
Communication with media, content creator contacts, and clients

Qualification

Required

Must be over 18 years of age and must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Fluency in English and Korean with excellent writing, speaking, comprehension, and communication skills in both languages
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients and media effectively
Organized, motivated, and with great attention to detail
Know how to use Microsoft Word, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc
Have a quiet space to work and good WiFi for meetings
Bachelor's degree or in-progress Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, or other related field
Capable of being discreet! We must ensure the privacy of our clients is maintained and respected

Preferred

Prior publicity internship experience
Existing relationships and/or contacts in the music industry
Experience in translation and live interpretation
Located in NYC or LA (or within reasonable travel distance)
