Prepares and dispenses prescribed medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist while ensuring excellence in patient care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction

Adheres to all state, federal, organizational, and departmental regulations and guidelines

Required

High School Diploma or GED

Registered by Texas State Board of Pharmacy & in good standing

Minimum 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician

Above average verbal skills (heavy public contact)

Mathematics, Medical Terminology, PC proficiency

Preferred

IV certification

MTM certification

2 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician
