KnitWell Group is offering a summer internship program at Talbots, a leading omni-channel specialty retailer of women's clothing. The Design Intern will assist the Design team in creating a fully concepted line, preparing presentation boards, and executing tech packs and sketches.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Design team in the creation of a fully concepted line for the designated end user
Prepares presentation boards highlighting fabric, flats, and figure sketches
Assists in set up of all concept presentations, execution of tech packs, both flat and technical sketches, pitch sheets and trim sheets

Qualification

Required

Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good time management and attention to detail
An eye for trend, color, print and pattern
Junior or senior (Class of 2026 and 2027)
Resume and portfolio (portfolios only needed for Design Applications)
Available June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
