Testing Center Day-Shift Supervisor
The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Testing Center Day-Shift Supervisor at the Pollock Testing Center. The role involves overseeing daily operations, collaborating with evening-shift supervisors, and ensuring effective eTesting and Scanning procedures.

Responsibilities
Work with all staff to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for students, faculty, and other visitors to the Center
Monitor daily activities and supervise day-shift staff
Perform functions of and train staff in processes and procedures, troubleshooting, and monitoring of the testing lab
Evaluate performance of day-shift staff relative to daily expectations, troubleshooting, and unit procedures
Serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting issues of instructors and students
Serve as a backup for front-desk staff when necessary
Supervise scanning and process scanning requests
Liaise with IT and other support personnel, including troubleshooting immediate issues, providing feedback and recommendations
Qualification
Required
This is an on-site position at the University Park campus
Ability to stand for extended periods and periodically walk through the testing room
Associate Degree
4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
Required Certifications: None
Preferred
Have prior experience working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and cultures (will serve a diverse student population)
Experience with exam scheduling systems and bubble sheet scanning
Experience with faculty and students in higher education
