Responsibilities
Perform the general ledger function, ensuring accuracy, compliance and transparency across accounting processes
Complete month-end close processes, including consolidation of financial statements from numerous global entities
Use system data, queries and analytical tools to perform cost reconciliations, identify anomalies and support continuous improvement in cost accuracy
Manage audits, technical accounting and internal controls, including preparation of financial statements and audit schedules
Collaborate with finance, technology and operations teams to improve processes and maintain data integrity
Identify, recommend and implement automation opportunities that enhance accuracy and efficiency
Model excellence in technical execution and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field required
At least five years of progressive accounting leadership experience including managing audits and technical accounting required
Experience with a major ERP system required
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, cost accounting and lease accounting required
Proven ability to enhance automation and processes through technology and analytics required
A commitment to working on-site at Gallup's Omaha office at least three days per week required
Eligibility to work in the U.S. required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
Preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
Oracle Cloud ERP preferred
Experience with international consolidations and foreign currency transactions preferred
