Responsibilities
Audit all food safety-related quality processes to ensure Quality group leaders and technicians are maintaining all process parameters
Audit product quality reports on all processing lines to ensure proper grade levels are being recorded and customer requirements are being satisfied
Work with the Quality Systems Manager, production and packaging staff to continually improve and maintain the quality of existing product
Develop a working knowledge of equipment (adjustment and troubleshooting maximizing output and quality by controlling process parameters) to support coaching and mentorship of team members
Qualification
Required
Strong Computer skills required
Must be flexible to support business needs that include weekends and other off-shifts
Preferred
No prior quality experience needed, willing to train - leadership experience preferred
Associate degree in Food Science Biological Science; or a related field preferred
Knowledge of GFSI, government, and industry quality assurance codes and standards
