Goodwill Central Oklahoma is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate industrial trucks in a warehouse environment. The role involves conducting safety inspections, loading and unloading materials, and adhering to safety regulations while meeting daily production goals.

Responsibilities

Conducts pre-shift safety inspections on all equipment that is operated by the employee

Reports all defects to their supervisor immediately and ensures that the equipment is locked and tagged out of service

Utilize the powered industrial truck to:

Load and unload trucks as needed

Move materials to and from storage and or to a workstation

Stack and unstack materials for storage and product weighing

Transfer donations throughout the production and salvage processes

Dump trash from the forklift dumpster attachment

Is responsible for ensuring that the equipment that is being operated is properly refueled

Use appropriate equipment when moving materials that do not require a powered industrial truck, such as a dolly, pallet jack or a flat cart

Meet minimum daily production goals

Reviews and is familiar with Goodwill safety policies, programs and operating procedures

Adheres to all safety rules, regulations, and attends all applicable safety training sessions

Perform other duties and projects as required by management

High School degree or GED

Must be able to pass forklift certification through Goodwill Central Oklahoma

Be at least 18 years of age
