Responsibilities
Drafting and heavily negotiating credit agreements, term loans, revolvers, intercreditor docs, security packages — the full suite of leveraged finance paperwork
Helping sponsors and companies shape their debt structures, wrestle with covenants, navigate market flex provisions, and stay ahead of evolving terms in this fast-moving market
Diving into due diligence, coordinating with M&A, tax, and regulatory teams, and helping drive multi-billion-dollar closings across the finish line
Taking ownership of deal workstreams and providing smart, practical advice on amendments, waivers, and restructurings
Working shoulder-to-shoulder with partners who truly invest in your development while giving you meaningful responsibility early on
Qualification
Required
3 to 5 years of solid experience focused on private equity / acquisition financings (the more leveraged the better)
Real familiarity with current market precedents
Someone who can run point on complicated transactions without losing the big picture. You will be expected to run deals as a 3rd year within this team
Top-notch academic credentials (The Partners are very clear on this)
Admitted (or immediately admissible) in New York, D.C., or California
