Responsibilities
Building and shipping scalable backend and platform systems from the ground up
Designing and owning core APIs, data models, and infrastructure
Developing and deploying LLM-powered agents that work with large, complex datasets
Taking end-to-end ownership of features in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
Collaborating closely with the founders to shape technical direction and product decisions
Qualification
Required
3+ years of backend and/or platform engineering experience
Strong experience with Python, AWS, SQL databases, and API development
Someone who is highly autonomous, learns quickly, and thrives in ambiguity
Comfort working in a startup environment with fast iteration cycles and high ownership
Preferred
Bonus points for experience with LLMs, RAG, or agentic frameworks
