They are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor to support operational functions for Correction Enterprises plants, ensuring efficient maintenance and supervision of staff.

Responsibilities

Support basic operational functions for all Correction Enterprises plants statewide

Maintain adequate technician coverage to maximize plant operations and minimize costly down time that inhibits production

Resolve equipment/facility problems that delay production and any manufacturing operations at the plant

Supervise staff or offenders while performing duties

Be well-versed in the operation of all power and hand tools, and rolling equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts)

Comfortable with the operation and training of power and hand tools, and rolling equipment

Qualification

Forklift operationMaintenance of manufacturing equipmentReading building codesWelding equipment experienceSupervisory skills

Required

High school or General Educational Development diploma

Two (2) years of experience in the performance of the full range of journey level tasks associated with two (2) or more highly complex mechanical or building trades

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

May require current certification by the Environmental Protection Agency as a Type I, II, III or Universal technician as required by Title 40, Code of Federal Regulations Part 82, Subpart F
