Responsibilities
Design institutional-quality financial modeling tasks based on real-world investment banking and private equity scenarios
Create comprehensive prompts and execution plans that require building financial models from scratch rather than using templates
Develop gold-standard reference models and structured evaluation rubrics to assess accuracy, structure, and financial logic
Build and review advanced transaction-focused models, including integrated 3-statement models, DCFs (with WACC and sensitivity analysis), LBOs, M&A models, and growth equity frameworks
Construct modeling tasks covering specialized deal types such as recapitalizations, carve-outs, and bespoke transaction structures
Lead and document in-depth diligence analyses, including unit economics, cohort analysis, and margin driver assessment
Collaborate asynchronously with research teams, providing clear written explanations of assumptions, methodologies, and modeling logic
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, hedge funds, growth venture capital, or similar corporate development roles
Demonstrated ability to independently build complex financial models from scratch without templates
Mastery of integrated 3-statement modeling, DCF analysis, LBO modeling, and advanced transaction structures
Proven capability in scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and transaction risk-return assessment
Strong transaction judgment with meticulous attention to detail aligned to institutional standards
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on documentation and clarity
Self-directed and comfortable working independently in a remote, high-expectation environment
Preferred
Experience across both sell-side (investment banking) and buy-side (private equity, growth equity, growth VC) roles
Familiarity with creating or evaluating technical content, training materials, or assessment rubrics
Experience handling complex or non-standard transactions such as carve-outs, spin-offs, or minority investments
