Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a creative and effective teacher capable of contributing to the School’s programs, primarily to our Master of Accounting (MAC) and online MAC programs
The majority of the teaching contributions will be in the field of Auditing, including potentially in areas such as accounting information systems
Additionally, the successful candidate may be expected to contribute to service (examples include but are not limited to committee work, professional talks, and mentoring) and impact activities (examples include but are not limited to presentations at meetings and conferences, research, and publications in field of interest) that positively enhance the School, business community, and society

Qualification

Doctoral degree in AccountingTeaching experienceAuditingFinancial reportingFinancial statement analysis

Required

Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting or Business prior to beginning work activities and can anticipate an initial appointment of Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor, depending on credentials

Preferred

Preferably, applicants possess the versatility to teach other accounting courses beyond auditing such as financial reporting and financial statement analysis
Additionally, it is preferred that applicants have a minimum of two (2) years teaching experience that includes undergraduate or Master of Accounting programs
