Responsibilities
Perform civil site and land development design, permitting, and construction observation
Design land development projects using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D
Prepare technical design calculations including:
Stormwater drainage & hydraulic modeling
Water distribution systems
Sanitary sewer collection systems, pump stations & force mains
BMPs, underground detention systems, and erosion control
Conduct technical reviews of drawings, specifications, calculations, and shop drawings
Perform preliminary engineering evaluations, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates
Mentor and train junior engineering staff
Assist management with project planning and staff scheduling
Serve as a point of contact for clients, review agencies, contractors, and internal teams
Attend meetings with clients, municipalities, and contractors throughout project phases
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in site/land development
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Proficiency in Civil 3D
Strong knowledge of Site Development
Strong knowledge of Land Development
Strong knowledge of Civil infrastructure systems
Preferred
Relevant titles may include: Civil Engineer, Project Engineer, Civil PE, Civil Designer
