Principal Business Development Manager – Global Freight Forwarding
Altius Talent is exclusively partnered with a globally established freight forwarding and logistics organization. They are seeking a Principal Business Development Manager to drive regional growth in Miami through new business acquisition and strategic account expansion.
Responsibilities
Drive regional sales strategy to grow international freight revenue across the Miami market
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across air, ocean, and multimodal logistics
Develop and maintain strong relationships with importers, exporters, and key decision-makers
Collaborate with pricing and operations teams to design customized logistics solutions
Manage sales pipeline activity, forecasting, and CRM reporting with accuracy
Conduct client meetings, QBRs, and represent the business at local industry events
Support onboarding of new customers and ensure a smooth transition to operations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales or related commercial roles
Strong knowledge of international air and ocean freight solutions
Demonstrated success in new business development and account growth
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment
Based in, or willing to relocate to, Miami, FL
