Account Executive II
Corovan is a company specializing in commercial moving and storage services, and they are seeking an Account Executive II to drive outside sales activities in the Southern California region. The role focuses on generating new customers and increasing revenue through the sale of office moving, warehousing, and logistics services.

Responsibilities
Conduct sales activities which includes cold calling to generate new business and for acquiring additional business with existing customers
Develop, conduct and coordinate sales presentations for potential new and existing customers
Prospect (including through research) and network daily to generate leads, which includes joining or developing applicable Lead Groups and other Business/Social Organizations
Make follow-up calls daily to work the sales process of converting Leads to Accounts, and Accounts to Accounts providing Opportunities, and then closing those opportunities at a rate higher than 50%, eventually developing New Clients with repetitive business
Properly complete all necessary and required Order Entry and Change Order documents for each job generated
Ensure timely submission for all Order Entry and Change Order procedures including obtaining sign-off authorization from authorized Operations personnel
Collaborate with operations or sales management for all orders over $20,000, prior to presenting the price and scope to the Client
Build and maintain successful relationships with all internal departments with active listening, positive attitude, open and honest communication, respect and appreciation
Perform headquarter calls on key accounts, and perform other client relationship improvement activities on a consistent and relevant basis
Provide regular reports as requested by management on general activity in all market areas, through the CMS and manually when necessary
Coordinate sales efforts with Sales Manager/Director, for maximum sales return
Perform Account Management services, including but not inclusive of: perform walkthroughs for survey purposes; provide a detailed scope of work for the client and for Corovan Operations; Manage and properly communicate expectations, both for and of the Client; professionally answer/address customer questions, concerns; escalate issues when necessary
Strategically partner with all internal departments to ensure customer success, which includes, but not limited to, scope of work, change orders, communications from customer, collections, billing issues and concerns
Partner with the Operations team to meet with customers to explain operations, security and processes for transportation and warehouse
Compile competitive information and formulate competitive strategies and programs designed to grow revenue
Oversee Trade Show activities, e.g., booth set up, booth assignments, organize appointment schedule, booth break down, and show follow up
Make in-person or virtual calls on key accounts, and perform other client relationship improvement activities on a consistent and relevant basis
Interact with customers in person and via telephone, fax and email to ensure complete customer satisfaction in all matters related to the operation
Become proficient on the company’s chosen Contact Management Software (CMS), and then utilize the software program daily to manage the sales process and efficiently generate new business
May be required to participate in Six Sigma projects

Qualification
Required
Two to five (2-5) years of outside sales experience required, preferably in the commercial moving, logistics or supply chain industries, with a successful track record of achieving sales revenue, opening up new accounts, building new business relationships and accounts, and achieving target revenue growth and margins
Proficient in MS Office, including MS Excel and PowerPoint
Valid California driver's license and driving record that meets the company's insurance carrier's requirements

CONTRACT DEVELOPMENT – Able to outline key variables in a contract and propose solutions for customers. Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive material
SYSTEM KNOWLEDGE – Strong PC skills including intermediate proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Excel; and Microsoft PowerPoint
