Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Conduct tax research and provide technical support on complex tax issues
Assist in tax planning and strategy development for clients across various industries
Review workpapers and ensure accuracy and completeness of tax filings
Supervise, mentor, and train junior associates and interns
Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve issues, and provide updates
Stay current on tax law changes and proactively identify opportunities for clients
Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation skills
Experience in Tax and Financial Statements
Accounting skills
Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
Ability to Commute: Mount Pleasant, SC 29464
Preferred
CPA license or working towards certification is a plus
