Responsibilities
Lead Requirements Gathering: Ask the right questions to uncover business needs and translate them into functional requirements, use cases, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and other documentation
Guide Business Partners: Act as a trusted advisor, helping stakeholders clarify objectives and make informed decisions
Project Leadership: Take ownership of projects, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables are met with minimal supervision
Testing & Quality Assurance: Create and execute test plans, document results, and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality outcomes
Consultant Mindset: Provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve processes and solutions
Collaborate & Communicate: Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams from initial requirements through implementation
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed product documentation and design, create, and analyze reports to support decision-making
Adaptability: Know when to seek help and escalate issues appropriately while maintaining accountability for deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). MBA is a plus
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager in a technical or software development environment
Proven ability to lead projects independently and build trust with stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to challenges
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Preferred
Experience with mock-up tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma, Axure)
Project management experience
Ability to write SQL queries
Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., MS Visio)
