Responsibilities
Lead origination for new M&A and capital advisory mandates across the U.S. middle market
Build and maintain senior relationships with CEOs, founders, private equity sponsors, and strategic buyers
Develop and execute a pipeline strategy to support a revenue target of $2M in annual advisory fees
Identify sector trends and market opportunities to position the firm for continued growth
Collaborate with internal execution teams to ensure seamless due diligence, valuation, and deal closing
Represent the firm at conferences, industry events, and meetings to expand relationship networks
Qualification
Required
Established Managing Director or senior deal-originator with a proven track record of fee generation in the middle market
Strong, active network with founders, private equity investors, family offices, and strategic buyers
History of delivering $1M–$3M in annual advisory fees, with a clear ability to develop proprietary deal flow
Deep understanding of M&A processes and transaction dynamics (sell-side experience strongly preferred)
Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable with autonomy, building a pipeline, and growing brand presence
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
