Quality Control Technician – Manufacturing / Machining
Qualdoc is a manufacturing company seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure product quality through inspections and training of inspectors. The role involves operating QC lab equipment, supporting corrective actions for defects, and maintaining quality management systems.

Responsibilities
Responsible for operating all QC Lab Equipment including the CMM and Gear Measurement Machine to correctly measure
Correctly measure and document part characteristics in accordance with customer requirements, part-specific control plans, and measurement requests
Supports corrective actions for quality defects (including MRB) in the production process
Performs analysis of customer rejects (warranty/field/customer plant level rejects). Prepare detailed analysis reports as required and assist QE TEAM
Supports the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System
Supports internal scrap reduction activities by collecting data, performing pre-analysis, proposing corrective actions, and presenting it to QC Engineer or Supervisor
Develops and maintains work instructions and related documentation. Trains QC Inspectors in the use of all equipment in QC lab
Follows the guidelines and standards per PPAP, MSA, APQP (if needed), and other applicable customer or ASQ quality standards
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three years' experience in dimensional layout inspection
Minimum of two years' experience programming and operating a three-dimensional machine
Excellent communication skills and ability to train others
High School Diploma or GED
At least 5 years related experience in lieu of Degree or a combination thereof
Preferred
Non-destructive testing Level 1 certification
ASQ Certified Quality Technician status
Associates Degree
Ability to read blueprints
Proficient in the use of SPC data and collection
Fully understand non-destructive testing in relation to raw material, heat treatment and welding
Computer literature in MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Access) specifically for the purpose of developing reports and graphs
Good organization skills
