Qualification

Java programmingFIX protocol knowledgeLinux developmentC++ developmentObject-oriented programmingNetworking protocolsTroubleshootingFinancial institution experienceMarket structure knowledgeBinary trading protocolsCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

5+ years Java programming with multi-threading development experience

A solid understanding of object-oriented programming is required

3+ years of financial institution experience required

Strong FIX protocol knowledge is required, FIX 4.2 – FIX 5.0

Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills

Extensive Linux development experience required

Must have a strong understanding of market structure for equities, futures, options and FX products

Must have a working knowledge of networking protocols - TCP/IP & multicast

Must be able to troubleshoot production issues (Level '3' support)

Preferred

C++ development is a plus

Knowledge of binary trading protocols is a plus
