Responsibilities

Oversee quarterly valuation processes and annual assumption reviews
Support financial reporting, business planning, and regulatory submissions
Conduct experience studies on life and annuity products, including policyholder behavior
Collaborate with auditors and external actuarial teams to ensure compliance and accuracy
Work with risk leadership to design and document actuarial controls and governance policies
Validate and analyze MG-ALFA outputs for asset and liability cash flows
Explain reserve movements and facilitate monthly reinsurance settlements
Lead ad hoc projects to enhance actuarial processes and automation

Required

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or related field
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent designation
Minimum 7 years post-fellowship experience, preferably in annuity reinsurance and asset modeling
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and solvency frameworks (e.g., US GAAP, US Statutory, Solvency II, Bermuda/Cayman regulations)
Proficiency with MG-ALFA; programming and automation experience is a plus
Background in pricing and valuation of annuity products; familiarity with FIA and MYGA preferred
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
