Responsibilities
Actively prospect and generate new commercial insurance clients through networking, referrals, and outreach
Conduct discovery meetings with business owners to understand their insurance needs
Present and recommend tailored commercial insurance solutions, including property, liability, workers’ compensation, and other business coverages
Manage your sales pipeline, track submissions, and ensure timely follow-ups
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular reviews and communication
Participate in community events, chambers, and networking groups to expand the agency’s presence
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure client satisfaction and seamless service
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Qualification
Required
Proven sales experience in commercial insurance or B2B sales preferred
Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable for results
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Solution-oriented with the ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple accounts
Coachable and eager to grow professionally
Resilient and persistent in pursuing new business opportunities
Ethical, professional, and client-focused
Comfortable networking and presenting in group settings
Preferred
Experience with multi-line commercial insurance is a plus
