Asset-Backed Lending and Mortgage Structured Finance Transactional Attorney

Responsibilities
Work closely with the Business with respect to the structuring, sale, negotiation, documentation and execution of a wide range of products, with a primary focus on asset-backed lending (including mortgage warehouse, commercial real estate and esoteric financing), repurchase transactions, securitizations and whole loan trading within the Global Markets division
Advise and assist in the creation, structuring, regulatory analysis and launch of new products and businesses within structured finance
Interpret, educate and assist with the implementation of regulatory changes that impact structured finance businesses
Advise the Business, Risk, Operations, Compliance and others internally regarding legal and regulatory issues, developments and risks relating to structured finance products and businesses
Assist with ongoing advocacy efforts relating to regulatory changes impacting structured finance businesses
Qualification
Required
Strong structured finance experience (e.g. asset-backed lending, secured credit facilities, mortgage repurchase transactions and securitizations)
Familiarity with corporate, securities, creditor, finance and bankruptcy laws and related issues
Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -- ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management
Ability to work independently and respond proactively to business needs
Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative work environment
