Responsibilities
60% of the role is dedicated to reviewing tax returns with clients, with a strong emphasis on tax planning and strategy
Approximately 40 client returns
20% of the role involves tax return oversight, serving in a management capacity over CPAs who prepare and handle returns
20% of the role is focused on learning and supporting financial products, including Indexed Universal Life (IUL), annuities, and life insurance
Collaborate closely with wealth advisors to support integrated financial planning
Work directly with clients—answering questions, offering insights, and simplifying complex tax matters
Help refine tax processes as the firm continues to scale
Bring strong judgment, attention to detail, and a client-first mindset
Qualification
Required
Active CPA license OR CPA candidate actively on track to obtain licensure
3–7 years of tax preparation experience
Strong experience with personal tax returns; business returns a plus
Strong communication skills and professionalism with clients
A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset
Preferred
Experience working in or alongside a wealth management / RIA environment is highly preferred
