The role involves performing collection and settlement efforts on residential, consumer, and credit card products, while supporting Portfolio Credit Management and developing feasible payoff strategies with customers.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing collection and settlement efforts on non-performing assets, primarily residential, consumer, and all credit card products (business and consumer) and related losses such as charged off overdrafts and Judgments

Analyzes customer's financial conditions and behaviors

Determines loan defaults, delinquent amounts, payoff amounts, collateral values, and other relevant data

Assist in evaluating, analyzing, and planning new product offerings and identifying cross sell opportunities for existing products

Work with customers to develop feasible payoff strategies, follows up on identified settlement plans, and coordinates with legal and other bank personnel for reduction of delinquent loans and related losses to the bank

Seek payment alternatives through workout strategies to avoid liquidations and improve the bank’s position in recovering the debt

Prepares and recommends Settlement Agreements

Supports Portfolio Credit Management as a partner to Relationship Managers and assists with obtaining updated financial records to keep files up to date and to clear technical exceptions
