Responsibilities
Develop detailed mechanical designs for wind tunnel test models using 3D CAD software
Perform strength and stress analyses utilizing Nastran, Femap, and Advance Sim
Conduct structural analysis to ensure model integrity, safety, and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and testing teams to support aerospace model development
Ensure all designs comply with quality standards and the AS9100D quality management system
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Aeronautical
Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical design with expertise in 3D CAD modeling (Aerospace/Aircraft experience preferred)
Proficiency in Siemens NX or equivalent 3D design software
Demonstrated experience in strength, stress, and structural analysis
U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency required (per US Export/ITAR Restrictions); DOD Clearance preferred
