Associate Director Marketing - Remote

The Associate Director Marketing will oversee U.S. product launch planning, pricing strategy, and brand strategy while collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance and achieve growth objectives.

Responsibilities

Own U.S. brand strategy, positioning, and messaging for a diagnostic generator platform; translate strategy into clear, compliant promotional tactics
Plan and execute an integrated U.S. product launch, including pre‑launch readiness, congress planning, tactical calendars, and post‑launch optimization
Lead U.S. pricing strategy and value story; inform list/contract pricing recommendations with robust market analytics and access considerations
Drive U.S. market research and competitive intelligence to illuminate customer needs, market dynamics, and adoption barriers; convert insights into action
Develop the annual U.S. brand plan and measurement framework; partner with Commercial Operations on ROI tracking and performance dashboards
Manage A&P budgets and agency partners to maximize impact and efficiency; ensure disciplined project management and timely delivery
Partner with Sales leadership to equip and support the field (training inputs, tools, resources); conduct field rides to gather insights
Collaborate with Regulatory, Legal, Medical, and Compliance to ensure accurate, balanced, and compliant promotional materials and PRC/MRL review outcomes
Coordinate closely with Supply Chain/Operations and the manufacturing site to align demand forecasts, supply plans, and launch phasing for U.S. customers
Represent the brand at key U.S. congresses and professional/patient meetings; manage sponsorships, exhibits, and symposia as appropriate
Build and maintain relationships with relevant U.S. customers, KOLs, societies, and advocacy groups to support appropriate utilization
Must maintain operational compliance with applicable regulatory agencies and guidelines (e.g., FDA, NRC, cGMP, ISO, USP) for all U.S. activities

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related scientific/medical field required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred
12 or more years of relevant work experience with 5 or more years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, including launch experience
Direct experience building pricing strategies, brand strategy, and market research programs; track record of successful launch execution
Experience with promotional review processes and creation of compliant materials; strong understanding of U.S. regulatory considerations
Excellent communication (written and verbal), executive presence, and cross‑functional influence skills in a matrixed environment
Strong financial and business acumen, including budget ownership and ROI frameworks; proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
Willingness to travel domestically and to St. Louis ~1 week per month
