Teach core undergraduate courses across Industrial Engineering
Be responsible for instruction of the Industry Capstone Design Experience within the Professional Master’s Program (PMP) in Logistics Systems Engineering program
Work effectively with industry partners and faculty
Provide mentoring to students and other program support staff
Perform service both at the School and the University levels as needed
Demonstrate skills in innovative pedagogical techniques, project/problem-based learning, and industry applications of current methodologies
Qualification
Required
Candidates must hold a Ph.D., or M.S. with more than five years of professional experience, in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Human Factors, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering or a related field by the employment start date
Ideal candidates will have relevant industry experience with demonstrable evidence of leadership
The successful candidate will teach core undergraduate courses across Industrial Engineering and be responsible for instruction of the Industry Capstone Design Experience within the Professional Master's Program (PMP) in Logistics Systems Engineering program at Purdue University
The successful candidate will work effectively with industry partners and faculty, provide mentoring to students and other program support staff, and perform service both at the School and the University levels as needed
They will have demonstrated skills in innovative pedagogical techniques, project/problem-based learning, and industry applications of current methodologies
