The Chicago School is an independent professional graduate school dedicated to preparing graduates for outstanding professional services. They are seeking qualified individuals to teach Ph.D. level courses in the International Psychology Program and supervise dissertation research studies of Ph.D. students.

Responsibilities

Adjunct faculty members will teach the Ph.D. level courses and serve as the dissertation committee chairs
The dissertation chairs will approve the dissertation proposal (chapters 1, 2, and 3) of the doctoral students and the committee readers proposed by the students, assist students in the development of the oral proposal defense, participate in the oral proposal defense, help students with the IRB application, supervise the data collection of the research studies, support students in the development of chapters 4 and 5 and the final dissertation defense as well as attending the final dissertation defense
Active participation in the student learning process
Regular posting of course-related announcement(s)
Timely grading of assignments and providing quality feedback
Holding virtual office hours
Responding to all student email(s) within 24 hours
Issuing final grade on time
Guiding students throughout the dissertation process
Facilitating and evaluating dissertation proposal defense and final dissertation defense

Doctoral degree in PsychologyTeaching experienceResearch experienceQuantitative research methodsQualitative research methodsTechnological competenceInternational professional experienceWriting skills

Required

Doctoral degree in Psychology
Previous teaching experience in higher education
International professional experience
Research and scholarship experience
Proven competencies in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
Excellent writing skills
Technological competence

Preferred

Previous teaching experience in higher education (3 years preferred)
