Responsibilities
Hospitalists will provide medical care for patients admitted to the hospital
Types of services include teaching, consultive, continuity, admitting, and overnight
Our hospitalist provide patient care in all of the hospitals within the OSU Health System
Physicians participate in the academic mission through clinical, educational, and research initiatives to improve the care of the inpatient population
Qualification
Required
Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or equivalent
Board certification or eligibility from the American Board of Internal Medicine required
Active certification from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) required
Completion of an accredited residency in internal medicine required
