Responsibilities

Assist Service Operations Manager with job duties and responsibilities
Champion corporate and division customer service programs to meet or exceed division goals
Direct and supervise front-end operations, including monitoring customer traffic flow, coverage of checkout lanes, and cleanliness of front-end sales floor, restrooms, entryway, and parking lot
Maintain the fresh, full appearance of checkstand merchandisers and ensure cleanliness and proper signage at checkstands
Serve as a cashier when needed
Provide services at the customer service center and ensure understanding of all related functions
Answer and respond to incoming calls appropriately
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including: Cash Handling, Employee Purchase, Restricted Product Sale (including alcohol and tobacco), Coupon and Gift Card policies, Scan accuracy, Supervising minor employees, Product Return Policy, WIC, Sanitation, safety, and security, Grooming and dress code standards
Report policy violations to store management
Perform all job duties with honesty and integrity in compliance with company policies
Ensure accurate operation and function of the Point of Sale system
Handle and assist with accountability for cash flow requirements including: Safe transactions, Issues and pickups, Tills, Check acceptance and refunds, Monitoring cashier funds and handling procedures
Work with Scan/FMC Team to correct scanning file problems promptly
May perform duties such as running totals on tills, preparing and proofing daily deposit slips, and completing all front-end forms
Report problems to Service Operations Manager for resolution
Assist with various front-end administrative duties as needed
Implement emergency procedures in the event of equipment or software malfunctions
Perform other necessary and required duties as assigned
