Responsibilities
Machine Setup & Operation: Perform end-to-end setup of HMC, VTL & VMC machines, including fixture mounting, tool offsetting, and part alignment
Programming: Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code and M-code). Proficiency in software and manual programming is highly preferred
Technical Execution: Handle complex machining operations on HMC, VMC, and VTL machines to meet stringent design specifications
Quality Control: Conduct first-part inspections using precision measuring instruments (Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, Bore Gauges, etc.) to ensure zero-defect production
Process Optimization: Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to improve cycle times and tool life
Maintenance: Perform preventive/routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor programming or mechanical errors to minimize downtime
Qualification
Required
Education: ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Proven track record in a precision engineering or heavy machinery environment
Analytical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Problem Solving: Strong understanding of machining physics and the ability to troubleshoot chatter, finish, or dimensional issues
Preferred
Proficiency in software and manual programming is highly preferred
