Responsibilities

Test set up of Automotive HVAC systems, modules, heat exchangers or sub-components such as blowers and actuators in order to perform performance measurements or durability life cycle testing

Understands the principles of a refrigeration cycle and the function of all the components and be proficient in diagnosing refrigerant system issues

Installation of instrumentation and equipment to monitor the test parameters including measurements of temperature, pressure and flow

Interface with computer based electronic test systems

Understand and execute tests efficiently and correctly

Observes consistency in test data, interprets results and report irregularities to test engineer

Diagnosis and resolve test component or bench issues, perform basic repairs and maintenance

Ability to cross train in various Test Laboratory positions, become proficient in multiple test bench operations

Take direction from test area supervisor for daily assignments

Must keep work area clean and orderly
