Responsibilities
Maintain current attendance records as required by the district and the state, including:
Admissions, qualifications and registrations
Keeping records of second-language students
Entering absences into the computer
Handling correspondence to parents of students who have excessive absences
Filing all excuses for absences; withdrawing students
Keeping appropriate personnel apprised of changes in attendance records
Prepare official attendance reports in accordance with district and state policies and procedures
Assist the campus administrative assistant in performing all office procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function
Qualification
Required
Proof of high school graduation/GED equivalent
Demonstrated proficiency in applied technology (Microsoft Office)
Demonstrated proficiency in general office management and procedures
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must have a high level of integrity and confidentiality regarding student records, employment records and campus issues
Must be self-motivated, possess the ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively
