Required

Litigation experience, preferably in the financial services industry
Excellent writing, oral advocacy skills, and academics
Active California license
Responsibility in analyzing, organizing, and drafting pleadings (e.g., demurrers, motions to dismiss, motions to strike, discovery motions, summary judgment motions)
Outstanding attention to detail
Exposure to e-discovery and fact development
Propounding and responding to written discovery
Interest in taking and defending depositions
Exposure to appearances in state and federal courts in case management conferences, motions and other pre-trial matters
Familiarity with (R)FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UCC, EFTA, TILA, and UCL/UDAP
Strategic and analytical skills in addressing client challenges, both legally and economically

Preferred

Experience from a regional, national, or outstanding local law firm
Judicial clerkship experience
